Aqua Farming ("we," "our," or "us") operates the Aqua Farming mobile application (the "App"), a digital aquaculture management tool for fish and shrimp farmers. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the App you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information We Collect

We collect only the information needed to operate the App:

• Authentication data: We use Google Sign-In and Firebase Authentication. When you sign in we receive your name, email address, and profile picture URL from Google.
• Farm operational data: Records you create about stocking, feeding, health/medicine, mortality, water quality, batches, and harvests.
• Financial data: Expenses, revenue, supplier, and payment records you enter into the App.
• Location data: If you grant permission, your device's latitude and longitude are used to provide local weather forecasts. You can deny or revoke this at any time in your device settings.
• Purchase data: If you subscribe, payments are processed by Razorpay. We store a subscription status, plan, expiry date, and payment reference id. We do not store your card or bank details; those are handled by the payment provider.

2. How We Use Your Information

• Authenticate you and give you secure access to your own farm data.
• Store and display your farm records, reports, and financial summaries.
• Provide localized weather forecasts and management insights.
• Provide AI-driven recommendations based on the data in your account.
• Process and validate subscription payments.
• Respond to support requests and send essential service notices.

3. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We share data only with service providers that are necessary to run the App:

• Google Firebase / Google Cloud — authentication, database, and hosting.
• Razorpay — payment processing for subscriptions.
• Google Gemini — to generate AI assistant responses from the data you choose to send.

We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our legal rights.

4. Data Security

We use Google Firebase for storage and authentication. Data is protected in transit and at rest using industry-standard encryption (SSL/TLS) provided by Google Cloud Platform. Access to your data requires authentication and is restricted to your account.

5. Data Retention

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, your personally identifiable information and farm records are removed from our production systems, and any residual copies in secure backups are purged within 30 days.

6. Your Rights and Account/Data Deletion

You can view, edit, or delete your data at any time. To permanently delete your account and all associated data, open the App, go to More → Security & Privacy → Delete Account & Data, or follow the instructions on our Account & Data Deletion page. You may also email us to request deletion.

7. Children's Privacy

The App is intended for use by farm owners and operators and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, through an in-app notice.
